About the Old Car Magazine

Oldcarmag.com is a trip through The Old Car Manual Project collection presenting articles about classic cars from back when they were new.
This isn't about history, this is about what it felt like back in the day.

The Old Car Manual Project has been collecting manuals, brochures, ads and all kinds of random ephemeral literature about cars and trucks since it first went online in late 2000. That's over 25 years now! 

It's all been scanned by volunteers around the world. Some of the collection is physical materials that have been donated, much is electronic, and a growing portion is Rusty's personal hoard. Rusty Petrovic (that's me writing!) is the webmaster. I look after the collection and try to keep things online and organized. More about the Project and how to contribute is here.
